CJC-1295 (no DAC)

Also known as Mod GRF 1-29, CJC-1295 without DAC

Short-acting growth hormone releasing hormone analogue.

Medical status: Not approved as a medicine.

Also commonly used for (off-label)

  • Boosting natural GH pulses
  • Recovery, sleep and body composition

Off-label and research uses are what people report, not approved indications. Talk to a clinician before using any of them.

How it's taken (route)

Documented dose
100–500 mcg
Typical frequency
1–3 times daily, 5 days on / 2 days off
Cycle
12 weeks on, 6 off
Half-life
~30 minutes
Common vial sizes
2 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg
Regulatory status
Not approved for human use in most jurisdictions.

Dose on a U-100 syringe (100–500 mcg)

VialBAC waterDraw
2 mg1.5 mL7.5–38 units
2 mg2 mL10–50 units
5 mg2.5 mL5.0–25 units
5 mg3 mL6.0–30 units
10 mg2.5 mL2.5–13 units
10 mg3 mL3.0–15 units

On a U-100 syringe, 100 units = 1 mL, and the syringe holds 100 units total. Most people keep a single subcutaneous injection under about 50 units — bigger volumes are usually mixed stronger (less water) or split into two shots. Only mixes that fit in one syringe are shown. Always double-check with the reconstitution calculator.

What it does

Also called Mod GRF 1-29. It nudges the pituitary gland to release your own growth hormone in a natural burst, rather than adding synthetic hormone from outside. What people look into it for: • Better deep sleep and feeling more rested • Faster recovery between training sessions • Gradual improvements in lean muscle and body composition • Skin, hair and connective-tissue quality Because it clears quickly, it is usually dosed before bed and often paired with a ghrelin-type peptide such as ipamorelin for a stronger pulse.

Mechanism

GHRH analogue binding pituitary GHRH receptors to stimulate endogenous GH secretion.

Storage — lyophilisedwhat's this?

Refrigerate 2-8C, protect from light.

Storage — reconstitutedwhat's this?

Refrigerate 2-8C, use within ~28 days.

Reconstitution noteswhat's this?

Common mix: 10 mg vial + 2.5 ml bacteriostatic water = 40 mcg per unit (100 mcg ≈ 3 units, 300 mcg ≈ 8 units). Best taken fasted, 2–3 hours after food.

Stacks well with

Popular combinations reported in the community and research literature — not a recommendation. Adding peptides multiplies side-effect risk; check with a clinician.

Commonly reported side effects

  • Injection-site redness
  • Water retention
  • Head rush
  • Tingling hands

Contraindications noted

  • Active malignancy
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Uncontrolled diabetes

Research notes

Best characterised when dosed on an empty stomach; frequently paired with Ipamorelin in the literature.
