What it does
Winstrol produces a flat, hard, vascular look and strength gains without water retention. The trade-offs are well known: dry, achy joints, some of the worst cholesterol changes of any steroid, and clear liver strain. It only makes visual sense at low body fat, and most people limit it to 4-6 weeks.
Mechanism
17-alpha-alkylated DHT derivative with high anabolic activity. Does not aromatize. Strongly lowers SHBG, raising free hormone levels, and severely suppresses HDL.
