What it does
Thymalin is a peptide complex originally isolated from the thymus gland, researched for restoring immune function, reducing inflammation, and potential geroprotective (anti-aging) effects. It gained attention from Russian longevity research showing reduced mortality in older adults.
Mechanism
Thymalin modulates T-cell differentiation and thymic function, helping normalize immune cell ratios. It also influences neuroendocrine regulation and has been studied for effects on telomerase activity and age-related immune decline.
