Also known as Test P, Prop
A short-ester testosterone that clears fast - more frequent injections, quicker control of levels.

Dose on a U-100 syringe
This dose is too large to draw in one standard U-100 insulin syringe at common mixes. It is typically drawn from a larger vial, mixed at a higher concentration, or split into more than one injection. Run your own vial through the reconstitution calculator.
What it does
Propionate is testosterone on a short ester, so it peaks and clears quickly. That means injections every day or every other day, but also faster onset and a quicker exit if problems appear. Often used at the end of a cycle or by people sensitive to water retention.
Mechanism
Same androgen receptor mechanism as other testosterone esters, only with a much shorter release curve. Aromatizes to estradiol.
Storage — lyophilisedwhat's this?
Oil solution: room temperature, away from light.
Storage — reconstitutedwhat's this?
Keep the vial clean and use within the labelled shelf life.
Reconstitution noteswhat's this?
Ready to inject. Known for post-injection soreness - smaller volumes and site rotation help.
Commonly reported side effects
- Post-injection pain and swelling
- Estrogen rise, water retention
- Acne and oily skin
- Rising hematocrit
- Suppression of natural production
Contraindications noted
- Prostate or breast cancer
- High hematocrit
- Uncontrolled hypertension or heart disease
- Trying to conceive
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Under 21 years of age
Research notes
Same clinical evidence base as other testosterone esters at replacement doses. Frequent injections make adherence harder.
